Would have liked a bit more for kids. Was there on a Thursday and Friday night wit my 11yr old son. There was no music or anything in d bar and the games room was really small. We were reminded at 9.50 by a member of staff that kids have to be out of the bar by 10pm which we already knew as had been told before also. When I booked it was on my belief it had amenities for children.
Very nice overnight stay with the Hotel being a short walk to the bustling town of Arklow with its quirky shops and bars. The beautiful bay just a 2 min stroll away. Friendly staff and excellent service, great value all around. Easy access from Dublin, M50 M11 and then an amazing drive home through the wicklow mountains. Very enjoyable.
We booked a family room for two days which included an evening meal. From arriving to departure we encountered very friendly staff, super service and our evening meal in the restaurant was exceptional. My only negative and it is only minor the reception on the telly in the bedroom was dreadful and it was very hard to flush the toilet it took several attempts. Having said that we had a very relaxing couple of days and we will return...
We had a wonderful experience
